Indian dance classes — Bollywood and semi-classical — in Tokyo, online and Delhi NCR. Sanya teaches every Tokyo and online batch herself. Private sessions and Bolly Burn are further down.
The online batch runs worldwide on Google Meet. No enrollment fee anywhere, and no drop-ins. Trials open September 2026 for Tokyo and online.

Every Saturday
Tokyo · Bollywood & Semi-Classical
Nishikasai Ayur Yoga Studio · in person
¥6,400/ month
4 classes a month · same fee every batch
Film choreography with a touch of classical fusion. Three batches split by level, running back to back on Saturday mornings. That is the group in the photograph above.
Current hits and timeless classics, broken down step by step until the piece is yours.
Semi-classical foundation
Classical vocabulary applied to modern music, subtle, never overwhelming.
Expression & posture
Every step carries a meaning. That's the difference between moving and performing.
Group and solo work
Ensemble choreography with solo segments, so nobody spends the term at the back.
“I don't teach Bollywood like a fitness class. I teach it like a film choreographer, every step has a meaning, an expression, a story. That's what makes the choreography stick.”
I've been to many dance classes, but this one stands out.The choreography is creative nd Sanya Ma'am is very knowledgeable, patient nd passionate about teaching.I highly recommend this institute to anyone looking to learn dance.

One to one
Private sessions
One-to-one coaching built around what you want: a single song, a performance piece, or technique from the ground up.
Children aged 6 to 12 have their own batch at 09:30. If you have never danced formally, or you are coming back after a long break, start with the Intermediate batch at 10:30, it is where adults begin and Sanya breaks every piece down. If you know the basics and want faster, more complex choreography, take Advanced at 11:30. If you are unsure, message Sanya and she will place you.
How do I book?
Message Sanya on WhatsApp using the button on whichever class applies to you. There is no self-serve online booking, every spot is confirmed personally, first come first served.
Is there a trial class?
Not yet. Trial classes begin September 2026 for the Tokyo and online batches. They must be booked in advance, and because choreography carries over between classes, trials are only offered on the first class of a new piece. There are no drop-ins.
Do I need any experience?
Not for the Saturday 10:30 batch in Tokyo, it assumes none, and Sanya breaks every piece down step by step. The online batch does assume you can pick up choreography at pace. Message Sanya if you are unsure which one fits.
What language are classes taught in?
English, Hindi or Japanese. Sanya is fluent in all three, so Tokyo classes run in whichever language suits the room. Private sessions can be booked in any of the three.
Is there an enrollment fee?
No. The monthly fee is what you pay, no enrollment, equipment or registration fees.
